Aghia Marina - Aegina

Ag. Marina in Aegina is located 17,5 nautical miles from Piraeus, a small paradise surprisingly close to the capital. Aegina enjoyed a brief moment of glory, from 1828 to 1829, as the first capital of the Greek State, which emerged after the struggle for independence against Ottoman Empire. The Doric Style Temple of Afea ,in Ag.Marina, built in the 8th Century B.C, similar in architecture to the Parthenon is well worth a visit, while just a short distance from from Ag.Marina is the imposing Agios Nektarios Monastery and Church, excellent example of the Byzantine Orthodox architecture.

Aegina is full of beautiful beaches around the island - some very popular and other more quiet and secluded - where one can spend romantic moments, enjoying the Greek sea and sun. The largest and most famous beach    is Agia Marina just 150 meters from our Hotel.

Nightlife is full of options. You can start with the local restaurants-taverns where you can taste the traditional  Greek recipes as well as international cuisine. For those who think that night only starts after dinner,  numerous pubs and bars will offer exotic cocktails while  the discos and night-clubs will remain open until early  morning hours. Ag.Marina in Aegina is the right choice  to fulfill your expectations.
